The 2011-2012 year will be the first year for David Snider as a graduate assistant with the Defiance College sports information department. He will be responsible for assisting with all operations of the 21-sport office, including media guides, gameday programs, promotional pieces and other projects. Additionally, he will be responsible for tracking and reporting the official statistics for all home sporting events and maintaining the athletics website.

Snider comes to DC from Muskingum University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in the spring of 2011 with a degree in political science and history. While at Muskingum, Snider was a four-year student assistant with the sports information department and a four-year member of the Muskingum men’s golf team. He served as captain and was named Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference in 2010-2011.

An active member of the Muskingum community, Snider served as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and as a student member of the Muskingum Board of Trustees.

While at Defiance, Snider will be enrolled in the graduate school seeking a master’s degree in business administration.
