Kathleen Westfall is in her 10th year as assistant athletic trainer at Defiance College, working primarily with volleyball, women’s basketball, and outdoor track and field. Westfall's current duties at DC also include serving as the Senior Woman Administrator for athletics, as well as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the athletic training education program.

Westfall joined the Defiance training staff in August of 2002, after serving as a graduate assistant trainer at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pa.

In 2002, she completed her master’s degree in athletic training from the University of Pittsburgh. Westfall earned her B.A. in athletic training and exercise physiology from Ohio University in 2000.

A Redford, Mich. native, Westfall currently resides in Perrysburg with her husband, Ty and three-year old son, Aiden. She also serves as an instructor in the athletic training education program at the college.
