The 2011-2012 year is the second for Kurt Moneysmith as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with Defiance College. His primary duties include working with the soccer, track and field and softball programs.

Moneysmith came to Defiance from Capital University, where he earned a degree in athletic training and served as a student athletic trainer for the Crusader men’s basketball and men’s and women’s indoor track squads. Moneysmith has also worked with multiple clinics and assisted at St. Charles High School during the spring of 2009.

During his time at Defiance, Moneysmith is also enrolled in the graduate school with the hopes of gaining a master’s degree in education.
