The 2012 season will be the third for Keith Klein with the Defiance College baseball coaching staff.

Klein lettered on the diamond four times for Defiance College under head coach Craig Rutter, before graduating with a degree in mathematics from DC in 1989.

Klein went on to gain his master’s degree in education from Defiance College in 1997 and is currently working on his doctorate in education from Walden University, while teaching mathematics at Hilltop High.

The Osceola, Ind., native and Penn High graduate excelled as a three-sport athlete in football, basketball and baseball. Klein was the captain of his basketball and baseball squads and also won the Kingsman-of-the-Year award as a senior.
