Moore resigned from his post as head golf coach at Tinora High School in 2010, after coaching for 18 seasons and guiding the Rams to seven Green Meadows Conference Championships and over 200 victories. Under Moore's watchful eye, Tinora posted an undefeated season in 2004.

Along with his experiences with Defiance College and Tinora High, Moore also coached at Edon-Northwest High School prior to spending 17 years as a PGA member. Moore gained instructional experience while working four years as an assistant golf professional at Shelby Country Club and spending 13 years as the head golf pro of the Auglaize Country Club.

Fred and his wife Carol have three grown children and are the proud grandparents of eight.
