Ally Bales joins the Defiance College women's soccer coaching staff after finishing up a stellar career at Dallas Baptist University. Over the next two years Bales will serve as an assistant coach while earning a masters degree. Bales brings plenty of experience and a strong work ethic to the Yellow Jackets.

On the pitch, Bales was the team captain for her senior year and recognized as a National Christian College Athletic Association All-American in 2008 and 2010. Bales also received Heartland All-Conference Honors from 2008 through 2010 and finished her career with a total of 95 points.

Bales graduated from Dallas Baptist University in May. She earned her bachelor of science degree in kinesiology and minored in Spanish. While at Dallas Baptist, Bales was heavily involved in charity work, including a mission trip to Peru where she volunteered at local orphanages.
