ANDERSON, Ind. – Anderson used a six-run rally in the fourth inning to erase a 2-0 DC lead and went on to sweep the weekend series over the Yellow Jackets with a 22-8 victory in Sunday’s series finale.

The Ravens followed up the six-run outburst in the fourth with 13 runs in the fifth to blow the game open. Defiance answered with six late runs but it was not nearly enough to keep pace with the hot-swinging AU offense.

Brent James led the DC lineup with two hits and a trio of runs scored, while David Riley collected two hits of his own and Brad Kremer knocked in two.

Defiance (5-24, 1-13 HCAC) will host Bluffton (12-17, 4-10 HCAC) on Tuesday at 4:00 pm.
