DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletics program will be hosting 'Pink Out' events on each of the first three Saturdays of October to raise money for the fight against breast cancer. All proceeds will go towards the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation.

The first event will take place on October 1, as the DC men’s and women’s soccer teams host Hanover for a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader starting at 1:00 pm. The second date will be on October 8, with the DC women’s tennis team hosting Hanover at 10:00 am and the volleyball squad welcoming Mount St. Joseph at noon. The final Saturday will be on October 15, when DC football takes on Earlham at 1:30 pm.

All fans are encouraged to wear pink to the events as a sign of support for the cause. There will be raffled items at each event and donations will also be accepted.
