2012-2013 Athletic Honors

The Yellow Jackets have already picked up many awards and recognition for the 2012-2013 athletic year. DC has placed 58 student-athletes on the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Preseason Athletes-to-Watch List and has had a pair of student-athletes earn Preseason All-Ohio accolades. Additionally, the Jackets have had 57 All-HCAC honorees, 24 HCAC Player-of-the-Week awards, two U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Assosiation National Division III Male Athlete of the Week honors, one OhioCollegeFootball.com Player of the Week, one selection to the D3Football.com National Team of the Week, one D3hoops.com National Team of the Week honor, one D3baseball.com National Team of the Week selection, one D3hoops.com All-Midwest Region selction, one National Association of Basketball Coaches All-Midwest District recipient, two HCAC Highlight-of-the-Week honors, one Capital One Academic All-District honoree, 60 HCAC All-Academic selections, 14 HCAC Champions, two new HCAC Indoor Track and Field Championships records, two new HCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships records, 14 HCAC All-Sportsmanship awards, 13 all-tournament selections, 12 All-Ohio honorees, one All-American honor and two HCAC Coach of the Year recipients.
