DEFIANCE, Ohio – Work has begun on an extensive three-week process to renovate Defiance College’s Karl H. Weaner Community Center. The project will include new scoreboards, new pads and athletic banners and a fresh coat of paint on the walls of the facility. The overhaul will be highlighted by a major redesign of the playing surface. The wood is being completely sanded down and covered in a brand new paint scheme, which will result in a much lighter atmosphere inside of the arena.
