Men’s Cross Country Finishes Third at Penn State Behrend

ERIE, Pa. – The Defiance College men’s cross country team used top-ten finishes from senior Justin Perkins and Sophomore Joe Davis to take third-place in the 14-team field at the Penn State Behrend Invitational.

Perkins set the pace for the Jackets with a fourth-place overall finish after posting a time of 26:36.2. Davis ran a time of 26:43.1 to end the race in sixth-place overall. Freshman Josh Hilton finished with a time of 27:29.5 for 17th place. Junior Hayden Krick and sophomore Madison Murphy ended the event in 20th and 21st with times of 27:24.6 and 27:25.3, respectively.

The next meet for the Yellow Jackets is the All-Ohio Championships held at Cedarville University on Friday, September 30th at 2:00 pm.
