Men’s Cross Country Takes 10th At Wilmington Invite

WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s cross country team captured 10th-place overall in the 26-team field at the Wilmington College Invitational. Senior Justin Perkins paced Defiance with a time of 26:17.19 to finish the event in 20th.

Placing 28th overall was sophomore Joe Davis, who ended the day with a time of 26:28.98. Freshman Josh Hilton ran a race time of 27:05.18, while sophomore Madison Murphy came in at 27:16.30. Junior Hayden Krick ended the scoring for the Yellow Jackets with a time of 27:56.93.

The DC harriers will return to the course on Saturday, October 29 when it competes at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference championships hosted by Anderson.
