ANDERSON, Ind. – Running in the last cross country meet of his career, lone senior Hayden Krick didn't leave anything in the tank, as the Antwerp, Ohio native registered a 37th place finish out of 256 competitors for the best mark in DC's cross country history. He ended just two spots shy of all-region (Top-35).

BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s cross country team finished 4thfor its highest finish since 2001 at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 27. Junior Joe Davis and Senior Hayden Krick finished in the top-10 overall and earned First-Team All-HCAC.

WILMINGTON, Ohio – It was a personal record setting day for the Defiance men’s cross country team, as five harries set career times including Joe Davis, who finished first for DC and 29th of 380 runners with a time of 26:04.54. The team placed 15th of 34 teams at the meet.

CEDERVILLE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s cross country team performed well in the annual All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio. Senior Hayden Krick finished first for the Yellow Jackets with a time of 26:19.11. He finished 87th overall, while being 16th amongst NCAA Division III schools.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Senior DC Harrier Hayden Krick was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference runner of the week for men’s cross country, after his record-setting performance at the Penn-State Behrend Invitational on Saturday, September 15.

ERIE, Pa. – Senior Hayden Krick had himself a career day on Saturday September 15, as he set the all-time Defiance record, as well as the course record, at the Penn-State Behrend Invitational. Krick finished with a first place time of 25:57.8 that shattered the old record of 26:17 set by Justin Perkins last season.

BLUFFTON, Ohio – In the second meet of the season, the DC men’s cross-country team showed well as it finished second at the Bluffton Invitational behind Manchester. The squad was led by junior Joe Davis who placed second overall with a time of 26:45:00, four seconds off first.

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Defiance College men’s cross country team got off to a good start on the season as junior Joe Davis and senior Hayden Krick paired to finish in fourth place at the Manchester College Hokem Karem.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – As the cross country squad is training at their preseason camp in Michigan, the HCAC released its preseason poll Monday with the DC Harriers notched for a fifth-place finish. Three Jackets were named HCAC Runners to Watch in Hayden Krick, Joe Davis, and Josh Hilton.
