DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College announced on Thursday that it had hired Ryan Kuhn as the head coach for the men’s lacrosse program. Kuhn will continue building the new program throughout the 2012 year, before leading the program into its first varsity season in the spring of 2013.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The floor inside the 84,000-square foot George M. Smart Athletic Center is installed and the lines were finished Thursday. The Smart Fitness Center will be moved in and open inside the facility as the Buchman Fitness Center on February 13, with the entire facility projected to be open by late February.
DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Sports Information Department, in partnership with Streamline Technologies, officially launched a redesigned online home for the Yellow Jackets on Thursday, with the aim of further increasing DC’s ability to showcase the student-athletes of its 22 varsity athletic programs.
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College Athletics Director Jenni Morrison has announced that Andy Routt has been named as the graduate assistant coach for the DC men’s lacrosse program. Routt will start on January 2 and serve as the program’s primary assistant coach, while also helping with recruiting for the new program.

Defiance College Adds Varsity Men's Lacrosse
Defiance College is proud to now offer men's lacrosse as one of its 22 varsity athletics programs. The team will compete as a club sport in the spring of 2012, before gearing up for its first varsity schedule in 2013. The Yellow Jackets are slated to compete in the Midwest Lacrosse League and will immediately be eligible for postseason play.
