DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach Ben Whitcraft announced that seniors Eddie Minear and Kevin Arriola will be team captains for the upcoming 2015 season.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Jodie Holava, head softball coach at Defiance College, has been named assistant athletic director at the college. Holava, who will retain her coaching position, is the all-time wins leader in the history of the softball program.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletic program has a new leader. DC president Mark Gordon has announced the appointment of Rudy Yovich to the position of athletic director. He succeeds Jenni Morrison who left in July for a position at California University of Pennsylvania.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Defiance College Yellow Jacket lacrosse programs will join a new conference in 2014-15, as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) and Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) have aligned to create the single-sport Ohio River Lacrosse Conferences (ORLC & ORWLC). Both leagues will begin in the spring of 2015.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – With the conclusion of spring sports, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has released the 2013-14 All-Sports Standings.  The DC men finished in fifth and the women came in at seventh.
