DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s soccer program has posted the date for its College Prep Camp and has settled on April 6, 2013. Head coach Alex Van der Sluijs and the DC soccer staff and players will be instructing the camps.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - A time lapse video of the completed field turf project at Justin F. Coressel Stadium in now available. The installation of the turf can now be viewed from start to finish in a 48-second video containing daily photos taken from an online web cam located inside the stadium press box.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – After a rough start to the season with a dreadful non-conference schedule, the Defiance College men's soccer team came together to compete well in conference play. Senior Ryan Owens and sophomore Kevin Arriola were chosen for Second-Team All-HCAC for their strong efforts over the year.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletics department announced on Tuesday that it would install a synthetic field turf surface at Justin F. Coressel Stadium. The project is set to begin immediately and will be the latest in a string of upgrades to the athletics facilities at DC.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – In heartbreaking fashion, the DC men’s soccer team ended its season on a sour note, as it was defeated by the Hanover Panthers 1-0 on senior day Saturday, October 27. The game was a true battle, as both teams played well in the match, but the visitors came out on top in the HCAC matchup.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s soccer team ended a three-game skid with a 3-0 shutout of rival Bluffton Beavers on Wednesday, October 24. The three second half goals accounted for the HCAC victory, as the Jackets improve to 3-14-1 (3-4-1 HCAC), while the Beavers drop to 2-13 (0-7 HCAC).

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Defiance men’s soccer team fell in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action Saturday, October 20, as it was defeated by the Transylvania Pioneers 4-0. DC’s record moves to 2-14-1 (2-4-1 HCAC), while the Pioneers improve to 12-1-2 (6-0-1).

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – It was big road victory for the Defiance men's soccer team, as it defeated the Manchester Spartans 2-1 on Wednesday, October 10. Scores by Ashten Forde and Kevin Ariola led the Jacket attack, as the team improves to 2-11-1 (2-1-1 HCAC) and the Spartans sink to 3-11-0 (1-3-0 HCAC).

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s soccer team couldn’t find any rhythm in its attack on Saturday, October 6, as it was defeated by the Rose-Hulman Fightin’ Engineers 2-0 in conference action. The Jackets move to 1-11-1 (1-1-1 HCAC), while the Engineers improve to 7-4-2 (3-0 HCAC).

RICHMOND, Ind. – The Defiance men’s soccer team scored a late goal on a header by junior Evan Allen that led to a 1-1 draw with the Earlham Quakers on Wednesday, October 3. It was the Jackets second road match in HCAC play, as DC remains at 1-10-1 (1-0-1 HCAC) with Earlham going to 2-7-2 (0-0-2).

CINCINNATI, Ohio – It was a long time coming for the DC men’s soccer team, but the squad finally earned its first win of the season as it defeated the Mount St. Joseph Lions 1-0 on a Kevin Arriola goal in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opener.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance men’s soccer team dropped another tough one, as it lost to the Wilmington Quakers in its second straight match decided by a score of 1-0. This time, a penalty kick in the second half sunk DC, as they now fall to 0-9-0 on the season.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s soccer program will depart on a 10-day trip to Europe on Thursday, August 2. The trip will include stops in Germany, Holland and Belgium, while offering the Yellow Jackets multiple training sessions and two matches against international foes.
