Steve Oberlin enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Defiance College men’s and women’s tennis programs. The Northwest State alum was promoted to head coach after serving as an assistant for both squads during the 2006-2007 campaigns.

Oberlin has 17 years of tennis coaching under his belt, and has experience coaching both tennis and basketball at the high school and collegiate levels. The past two seasons, the Stryker High product served as an assistant coach for DC’s women’s basketball squad.

Oberlin graduated with a degree in business management from Northwest State.
