DEFIANCE, OHIO – The Defiance College men’s tennis team hosted Muskingum University and Thomas More (Ky.) College and went 2-0 for the day.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College (0-1) Men’s Tennis Team opened the 2015 season against Roosevelt University (3-4) on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets were topped by the Lakers by a score of 8-1.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Jodie Holava, head softball coach at Defiance College, has been named assistant athletic director at the college. Holava, who will retain her coaching position, is the all-time wins leader in the history of the softball program.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletic program has a new leader. DC president Mark Gordon has announced the appointment of Rudy Yovich to the position of athletic director. He succeeds Jenni Morrison who left in July for a position at California University of Pennsylvania.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference released its Academic All-Conference Honorees list today for the spring semester and Defiance College was well represented with 17 student-athletes making the list, third most in the conference.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – With the conclusion of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference tennis season this past weekend, the conference has released its All-HCAC Teams.  The Yellow Jackets are well represented with five athletes after their fourth place finish.
