DEFIANCE, Ohio - Crews are starting to install a new rubberized playing surface at DC's outdoor Dix Tennis Facility. All six courts will be resurfaced, joining four brand new courts inside the DCAC to give the Yellow Jackets some of the finest tennis facilities in the region.

The upgrades were made possible by generous gifts from Katharine Dix and family, which totaled $137,000. The indoor courts will be constructed of semi-encapsulated polyurethane and will open with the completion of the Defiance College Athletics Center this winter.
