DEFIANCE, Ohio – An outstanding career came to a conclusion this past Memorial Day weekend. DC's senior Tom Postema was named USTFCCCA All-American in the discus and hammer throw, after his performance at the NCAA Outdoor National Championships.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Purple and Gold men's track and field squad wrapped up its NCAA Div. III National Championship weekend Saturday, May 25, as senior Tom Postema took action in the shot put. He finished 16th overall in the event and earned the team 18 points over the competition to earn 10th place.

NEW ORLEANS – The spectacular season for the Defiance College men's track and field team continued after it finished 15th in Div. III for its highest ever ranking and its top athlete, senior Tom Postema, was selected as the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Region Field Athlete of the Year on Friday, May 17.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Defiance College men’s track and field team wrapped up its last scheduled meet Friday, May 17, one weekend before the National Collegiate Athletic Association Div. III National Championships. Competing at the Gregory Final Qualifier was sophomore Troy Parrett.

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Defiance College men's track and field team traveled north to Michigan Friday, May 10 for the GVSU Second to Last Chance Meet. While there, junior Joe Davis grabbed the top spot on the DC all-time list in the 5,000-meter run and sophomore Troy Parrett set the new school mark in the 800.
