DEFIANCE, Ohio – The 2009 DC Invitational will be held Saturday, September 12, on the Defiance College campus. The women harriers will compete in a 5k race beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the men will run an 8k starting at 10:40 a.m.

Competing in this year’s race will be Goshen College, Holy Cross College, Huntington University, Owens Community College, Bluffton University and Defiance College. Each school may enter an unlimited number of runners. This year’s course will consist of grass, gravel and dirt roads with a few very short sections of asphalt. The top seven finishers in each race will score or displace, while any unattached runners will not count in the scoring.
