Tasha Brown is a junior on the women's tennis team and has played in the varsity lineup in every match since the beginning of her freshman season. Brown was also named HCAC Academic All-Conference for the 2011 season.

20 Questions With Tasha Brown
1-When did you start playing tennis? I started playing tennis during my freshman year of high school.
2-What has been the highlight of your athletic career so far? The highlight would have to be when our team beat Mount St. Joseph for our first win during my sophomore year. I won in both singles and doubles that day.
3-What are your goals for the 2012 season? Just to improve my game and hopefully get more wins.
4-Who is your funniest teammate? We are all funny, it is hard to pick just one person who is the funniest.
5-Do you have any nicknames? Tash.
6-What three words best describe you? Loud, funny, stupendous!
7-What is your favorite restaurant? I do not know if it is considered a restaurant but Chipotle is my favorite!
8-Who is your biggest hero? My biggest hero would have to be my mom.
9-Dream vacation spot? It would have to be Italy. I have always heard the place is beautiful and they have great food there.
10-What is the top song currently on your iPod? "All I Do is Win."
11-Who was your childhood sports hero? Michael Jordan. He seemed like he could do it all when he was playing.
12-Do you have any superstitions or pre-match routines? I can not wear matching socks when I play a match.
13-If you could trade places with anyone for one day, who would it be? No answer provided.
14-What is your favorite TV show? "Law and Order SVU." Best show ever made!
15-What is something most people do not know about you? No answer provided.
16-What is your biggest fear? My biggest fear would have to be not finding a job after I graduate.
17-Besides your own, what is your favorite sport to watch at Defiance? My favorite sport to watch would have to be football.
18-What is your favorite class or professor at DC and why? My favorite class would have to be my event and facilities class. It is what I want to get into in the future so I am really interested in what we talk about.
19-What are your plans after graduating from DC? I plan on going out to the east coast to get my master's degree in sport management.
20-How has playing collegiate athletics at DC helped you in life? It has made me become more organized with everyone in my life, such as school work and other extra activities.
