Tournament Information

  1. The tournament will be an four team round robin tournament, guaranteeing each team four matches. Seeds will be determined by best record of the four matches played in the tournament. We will be using NCAA Tournament tie-breaking rules.
  2. All matches are best of 3/5 games using rally scoring to 25, with the fifth set to 15 points, win by two points. No Cap.
  3. Line judges and scorekeepers are provided.
  4. All teams will be given the allotted nine min. (4 min. visiting, 4 min. home, 5 min. visiting, 5 min home) NCAA warm-up unless both teams or one team gives up that time, where by the match will start as close to the scheduled time as possible. **No games will start earlier than the time scheduled on Friday, but there will be a rolling schedule for Saturday.
  5. Home team is the first team on the schedule
  6. There will be an extra court available for shared ball control warm up.
  7. Championship and runner-up plaques, as well as all-tournament team will be presented immediately following the conclusion of the final match, along with the All-Tournament Team.
  8. Athletic Training facilities will be available. There will be both certified athletic trainers, and student athletic trainers on staff. Visiting teams are expected to provide their own taping materials. If an athlete requires more advanced treatment, contact our training room at (419) 783-2345.
