DC Volleyball Moves Home Dates to Defiance High School
DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College has announced that the first three home contests of the 2012 volleyball schedule have been moved to the campus of Defiance High School due to on-going facilities upgrades inside the Karl H. Weaner Community Center.
The home matches against Earlham on September 26, Transylvania on October 13 and Hanover on October 14 have all been moved to Defiance High. The Yellow Jackets are expected to be back in the Weaner Community Center for their home clashes against Rose-Hulman and Bluffton on October 21 and 24, as well as for any postseason competition.
The Karl H. Weaner Community Center will be undergoing significant upgrades, with the floor scheduled to be refinished and the installation of brand new bleachers. The projects are expected to be completed by October 15.
Defiance High School is located at 1755 Palmer Drive and is approximately three miles south of Defiance College. Full directions can be found at this link.
