DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s basketball team will host its second annual food drive on Tuesday, November 25, when it hosts Hope College at 7:30 p.m. Individuals who bring at least two non-perishable food items will be given free admittance into the game.

All items will be donated to the Food Pantry at the PATH Center. The PATH (Partnership Assistance to the Homeless) Center serves meals and offers social activities for homeless persons, individuals with severe mental disabilities and those with food or nutritional needs.

Fans can drop their food items off in the lobby of the Karl H. Weaner Center, as the Jackets help the PATH Center provide meals for individuals in the Defiance area this holiday season. “We are excited to be helping the Food Pantry again,” said DC head coach Dic Doumaninan. “They do great work for people of need here in Defiance.”
