DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College will offer a free live webcast of its women’s basketball game against Anderson University on Wednesday at 7:30 pm. The webcast will be the first of 20 scheduled throughout the 2009-2010 season and will be made available by Hubbard Company, Mark Moats Ford and First Insurance and Investments.

The webcast schedule will feature 10 home games each for the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Defiance College, allowing Yellow Jacket fans from around the globe to catch the action on the hardwood at no cost. The broadcasts will be available live and will also be archived for future viewing.

The full slate of webcasts will consist of the 16 home Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference contests, the two Defiance games in the Hubbard Company / Pro Rehab Tournament and both DC showings in the Purple and Gold Financial Tournament.

The action will be called by play-by-play announcer Jim Funderburg, with Jim Bellamy providing color commentary. Fans can view the webcasts by going to www.defianceathletics.com/video.
