DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s basketball team welcomes the Ravens of Anderson University to the Karl H. Weaner Center for tonight’s HCAC showdown. Defiance will look to claim its third-straight home victory against the visiting Ravens, who boast the second-ranked defense in the HCAC.

The Lady Jackets broke out of a three-way tie to claim sole possession of fifth place in the conference with their win over Rose-Hulman last week, and will look to maintain that momentum tonight against one of the more defensively minded and physical teams in the conference. DC’s offense has been terrific recently, averaging 85.5 points per contest over its last four games, and will need another great effort tonight against an Anderson squad that has allowed just 58.1 points per game to its opponents this season.

Defiance (7-10; 5-5 HCAC) can push its conference record back above .500 in the HCAC with a win against Anderson (5-12; 3-7 HCAC) in tonight’s showdown, which is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. Fans unable to make it to the game can catch the action online at www.defianceathletics.com/video.
