DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s basketball program has announced this year’s summer camp schedule, which includes a Little Dribbler Basketball Camp, for girls ages five through seven, and two Lady Jacket Basketball Camps, for girls ages seven through 17.

The Girl’s Little Dribbler Basketball Camp will run from June 21 through 23, and will be held in the Defiance College Weaner Center Gymnasium. The camp will be supervised by DC head basketball coach, Dic Doumanian, as well as assistant coach Nikki Oakland, and will feature stations and contests designed to improve dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Participants will also be divided into teams for four-on-four and five-on-five games.

The 2010 Lady Jacket Basketball Camps will be offered in two different sessions, the first running from June 28 through July 1, and the second from July 26 – 29. Campers will work with the DC coaching staff and players to learn and develop the basic skills and fundamentals of basketball, and will have a chance to show off their skills while participating in contests and games.
