GREENWOOD, Ind. – Defiance College senior Ellen Stryffeler was named Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week for the second time this season, after pacing the Jackets at the Penn State-Behrend Invitational.

Stryffeler captured eighth place in the 103-runner field with a time of 20:11.8, and helped   Defiance place fifth among the 11 teams competing at the event.

The next event for Stryffeler and the rest of the DC harriers is on Saturday, September 30, when they travel to Cedarville University for the All-Ohio Championships. Race time is slated for 2:00 pm.
