TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The 2008 season came to a close on Sunday for the Defiance College women’s golf team. The Lady Jackets shot a 429 for the second day in a row and ended in seventh place with a final total of 858 at the HCAC Championships.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Defiance College played the first of two rounds at the 2008 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday. The Jackets shot a 429 as a team and will head into Sunday’s final round in seventh place.

N. MANCHESTER, Ind. – Defiance College hit the links on Saturday to play in the eight-team Manchester Invitational. The single-round tournament was the final event for the Jackets prior to wrapping up their campaign in the HCAC Championships on Oct. 11 and 12.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s golf team hosted the 2008 DC Fall Invitational on Monday afternoon at Kettenring Country Club. The tournament was the final home competition of the fall season for the Lady Jackets.

WAUSEON, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s golf team hosted a three-team tournament on Tuesday afternoon. The Lady Jackets finished in third place behind Northwestern Ohio and Findlay in the team standings.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The 2008 Olivet Invitational has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions on the course caused by rain over the weekend. The tournament will not be made up. Defiance will now be back in action on Tuesday when it hosts the Jon Speiss Memorial Tournament.

ANDERSON, Ind. – The 2008 fall season got underway on Saturday and Sunday, as the Defiance College women’s golf team took to the links to compete in the nine-team Anderson Fall Invitational.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College Athletic Media Relations Department, in partnership with Streamline Technologies, officially launched a brand new athletic website on Thursday. DefianceAthletics.com will be the new home for DC’s 18 varsity athletic programs and will provide the Yellow Jacket teams with more extensive coverage than ever before.
