DEFIANCE, Ohio – Senior Defender Katie Heitkamp and junior forward Karly Smith have been placed on the 2012 NCAA Women's Division III All-Ohio Team by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association. Heitkamp was named as part of the Second-Team All-Ohio and Smith was placed on Third-Team All-Ohio.

Katie Heitkamp, Karly Smith, Bibiana Parra and Lindsay Bubnick were named to the All-HCAC team for their efforts in the extremely successful season.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College athletics department announced on Tuesday that it would install a synthetic field turf surface at Justin F. Coressel Stadium. The project is set to begin immediately and will be the latest in a string of upgrades to the athletics facilities at DC.
