DEFIANCE, Ohio – The women’s soccer team brought in a few more awards when the All-Ohio Teams were announced this week. Kim Bingley and Lindsay Bubnick were honored with being named to the Division III All-Ohio Third Team.

Bingley (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf) was the leader of the defense this year that was able to help the back line to put up three shutout wins.  Along with helping with the shutouts, she also regularly turned away threats that the opposition brought into her territory.

Bingley started in all 19 games and played over 1700 minutes on the season.  Bingley was also named to the Second Team All-HCAC this year for her efforts.

Bubnick (Vandalia, Ohio / Butler) also had a good season to receive the honor.  She tied for the team lead in goals this season with six.  She also finished second on the team with points putting up 13 on the season.

Her career totals consist of 30 points and 13 goals, which puts her in third in both categories.  Bubnick was also named to the Second Team All-HCAC this season for her tremendous play.
