AKRON, Ohio – On the final day of the 2013 Defiance College swim season, the Yellow Jackets went out with a strong showing at the OAC Championships on Saturday, February 16. The team set individual records in both the men’s and women’s 1,650-yard freestyle event and the women’s 4x400-yard relay.

FRANKLIN, Ind. – Defiance College’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams took part in their second-to-last meet of the 2013 year on Saturday, January 26. The Yellow Jackets competed in a non-conference matchup with Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schools.

ALMA, Mich. – The DC men's and women’s swimming and diving squads both fell to the Alma Scots on Saturday, January 12. Freshman Braden Perry led the way on the men’s side, while three different Lady Jackets grabbed at least a pair of second place finishes on their end of the pool.

BEREA, Ohio – The Defiance College swimming and diving team competed against Baldwin-Wallace College and Urusline College on Sunday, December 16. For the head to head results, BW defeated both the DC men and women’s squads, but the Purple and Gold managed to pull out a victory over Urusline 67-65.

ADA, Ohio – The Defiance College men’s and women’s swim team took part in a tri-meet Saturday, December 8 with nearby the nearby Ohio Northern Polar Bears and Findlay Oilers. The Polar Bears took first on first on the men’s side, with the Lady Oilers grabbing the top spot for the women.

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Defiance men’s and women’s swimming and diving team came up against stiff OAC competition Saturday, December 1. The squad took on John Carroll University and Wilmington College for its third conference meet of the season.

DELAWARE, Ohio – It was a two-day affair for the Defiance swimming and diving team this weekend, as it competed at the CM Invite hosted by Ohio Wesleyan on November 17th and 18th. Over the two days, the Yellow Jacket swimmers competed in 21 team and individual events overall.

HIRAM, Ohio – The Defiance College swimming and diving team notched its second victory of the year, as it grabbed a split at the Hiram meet on Friday, November 16. Sophomores Emilee Boleyn and Jacqueline Loock placed first in all three events each swimmer competed in on the afternoon.

FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Defiance men’s and women’s swimming and diving team competed in its first meet against a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe on Friday, November 2. Jacqueline Loock led the team on the afternoon with two first place finishes.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance College swim team hosted its second swim meet in as many weeks on Saturday afternoon. The women’s team raced against Urbana and Ursuline in a tri-way meet, while the men went head-to-head with Urbana.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The team of sophomores Jacqueline Loock and Emilee Boleyn with freshman Savannah Marquez and Eme Miller combined to grab the top spot in the women’s 400 yard freestyle relay. It was the best finish on the day for the Defiance College swimming and diving team.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Defiance swimming and diving team got its season underway on Saturday, October 20 with its meet against the Wilmington College Quakers. First place finishes for the Jackets were sophomore Jacqueline Loock in the 200 Individual Medley and freshman Savannah Marquez in the 50 free.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The DC men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will open up their second varsity season this weekend, as they host Wilmington College this Saturday, October 20 at the Defiance YMCA. New head coach Athena Miller will get to lead the team in her first meet with the program.
