Yellow Jackets Fall to Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio – The Defiance College women’s tennis team dropped its match to the University of Findlay on Thursday afternoon by a score of 9-0. The loss brings DC’s overall record to 1-3 on the season.

 

The Yellow Jackets were unable to pick up a victory in any of the matches even though they fought hard. Sophomore number one singles player Kirsten Wieland lost in a close match by a score of 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 (super tiebreaker).

 

The Lady Yellow Jackets next match is at home against conference foe Rose-Hulman University. The match is on Saturday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m. at the newly renovated Dix Tennis Facility.
