25 Defiance Student-Athletes Claim All-HCAC Academic Honors

DEFIANCE, OHIO – Defiance College landed 25 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic honorees during the 2017-18 spring sports season released Friday afternoon by the league office.

Tom Bohlsen Academic All-Conference student-athletes must follow the criteria of carrying a 3.50 cumulative grade point average entering their playing season and completed at least one full academic year at the institution.

The softball team led the department with 10 honorees, followed by baseball with seven, women's track and field with four and men's track and field and men's tennis with one nominee a piece.
