2009 at Defiance: One of two Yellow Jackets to start all 38 games … Made the move to center field and busted out with one of the finest seasons at the plate in program history, while setting career highs in nearly every offensive category … Set DC record with 159 at bats … Ranked second in DC history with 53 hits, fourth with four triples and seventh with 32 runs … Collected 15 multi-hit games and batted .360 during team’s first 32 contests … Had at least one hit in 28-of-38 games … Scored at least one run in 22 ballgames … Became more aggressive on the bases with 11 steals over the final 18 outings … Led Defiance in batting average, runs, hits, doubles, triples and steals … Hit .406 with 11 runs scored in DC’s wins … Moved into fourth place on DC’s all-time triples list with five for a career … Named Second-Team All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
