Wolfrum earned his second HCAC Player-of-the-Week honor of the season and the fourth of his career, after notching yet another career high with 42 points in a 93-90 double-overtime loss to Ohio Northern in DC's only game of the week.
The sophomore point guard connected on 12-of-17 field goals and all 16 of his free throw attempts, while adding five rebounds and a trio of assists in 48 minutes of work. Wolfrum was a force from the opening tip, hitting his first 10 shots of the night from the floor and the charity stripe combined en route to scoring 17 of DC's first 22 points and netting the Jackets' first nine points of the second overtime period.
Wolfrum has scored at least 14 points in all four contests to open the 2010-2011 season and currently leads all HCAC players with 25.5 points and 8.3 assists per outing.
Wolfrum and the Jackets (2-2) will open their HCAC schedule on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm, when they play host to the No. 14 Anderson Ravens (2-1).
