Sean Roberts named to All-Great Lakes Region team

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College Men's Soccer goalkeeper Sean Roberts picked up more postseason recognition this week after he was named to All-Great Lakes Region team.

The senior was named to the All-Great Lakes Region Third team after posting a 1.20 Goals Against Average that set the all-time mark for the Defiance College program. This season, Roberts (Canal Winchester, Ohio / Canal Winchester) also led the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference in saves with 84 and finished with a .785 save percentage

Roberts was able to lead the Yellow Jackets to a 10-win season and he finished with 19 victories throughout his career at Defiance.

The honor adds to Roberts decorated season. He was also named the Heartland Collegeiate Athletic Conference Defensive Most Valuable Player this season and was also awarded with an All-HCAC First team selection.
