Defiance Competes at Adrian Invitational
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Defiance College men’s cross country team finished seventh at the Great Lakes Short and Long Course Championships held on the campus of Adrian College. The Jackets had four runners compete in the 5K race and three in the 8k race, in a meet that scores a team’s top three individuals in each race.

Freshman Justin Perkins once again led DC, finishing 17th in the men's 8K with a time of 28:24. Seth Bidlack was the next Defiance harrier to cross the line, running a season-best time of 29:46. Troy Secrest, who has continuously dropped his time this season, finished in 32:07. Matt Rohlf led the Jackets in the 5K race, completing the course in 18:35. Ryan Nusbaum and Justin Lamb rounded out the scoring for DC, finishing in 19:38 and 19:46 respectively.
Defiance will be back in action next Friday, October 10, when it travels to Delaware, Ohio for the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships.
