Krick leads DC in Calvin Knight Invite

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In a race that featured 21 teams and 291 runners, the DC Men's Cross Country took home 19th with a 551 total team ranking.

DC's top five finishes came from Colin Krick (Hicksville, Ohio / Antwerp Local), Diego Sanchez (Kissimmee, Fla. / Celebration), Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. / Brown County), Andrew Senecal (North Baltimore, Ohio / North Baltimore) , and Jacob Rindler (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry).

Krick led the way for DC with a 90th place finish.  He finished the 8K race with a time of 27:57.  He was the 38th sophomore to cross the finish line.

Coming in second for the Yellow Jackets was Sanchez.  The freshman finished with a 29:17.3 for a 109th place finish.

Finishing with a 29:20.4 was Roush who took home 112th place.  Right behind him at the 29:38.1 was Senecal.  Senecal came in at the 116th position.

Rounding out the Yellow Jacket scoring was Rindler with a 124th place finish.  He posted a time of 30:10.7.

DC will be back in action on September 27 at the Wilmington Pre-Nationals Meet.  Start time is set for 11 am.
