Record-breaking offensive season for softball comes to an end

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College softball team finished a record-breaking offensive year in 2021 with a sixth-place finish in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference standings. The Yellow Jackets went 16-21-1 overall on the season and 8-8 in HCAC play. Defiance nearly missed out on the HCAC tournament due to a tiebreaker with Franklin.

Softball falls short in doubleheader at Alma

ALMA, Mich. - The Defiance College Softball team traveled to Alma College to take on the Scots in a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets dropped game one by a 6-0 score before, taking a tough 5-4 loss in the second game.

Defiance College softball 2021 season preview

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Defiance College women's softball program heads into the upcoming 2021 season with 18 returners from last year joined by 12 newcomers. Entering her third year as head coach at Defiance, Megan Warren is looking for her Yellow Jackets to improve their record from last season after their 2020 campaign was cut short due to coronavirus. The Purple and Gold managed to get in 14 games finishing 5-9 overall.
