DC struggles on road against Franklin

FRANKLIN, Ind. – Defiance College's women's tennis team traveled to Franklin, Ind. this weekend to play against the Grizzlies of Franklin College.  Defiance couldn't get it going at Grizzly Park, falling 9-0 to the defending HCAC regular season and tournament champions.

Do to an incomplete roster because of injuries, the Yellow Jackets were unable to field a complete roster and Defiance forfeited a doubles and singles match.

The second court in singles is where the Yellow Jackets had there closest match. Nicole Tank challenged Franklin's Bethany Harris in several games.

No other Yellow Jacket, in singles or doubles, were able to get into the winning column on the road trip.  Defiance next plays at home on Wednesday when they host Anderson.  Matches will begin play at 4 pm.
