Eight athletes named to All-HCAC Teams
DEFIANCE, Ohio – After capturing the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Championship, eight athletes from the Defiance College Women's Track and Field team have received All-HCAC recognition.

19 athletes are named to the first team and the DC women were over one-third of the names put on that list. Seven Yellow Jackets were placed on the first team. DC also had one runner make the second team as well.
To be named to first team you must win the event. To be named to second team, you must have finished runner up in the event.
The first team athletes are; Bree Anderson (Huntertown, Ind. / Carroll) for 4x200-meter relay, Sam Cook (Raiford, Fla. / Bradford County) for shot put, Kali George (East Palestine, Ohio / East Palestine) for 4x200-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay and 400-meter dash, Brooke Lime (Defiance, Ohio / Defiance) for 4x400-meter relay, Margaret Sarfino (Dayton, Ohio / Kettering Fairmont) for 4x400-meter relay, Waverly Weaks (Liberty Center, Ohio / Liberty Center) for 4x200-meter relay, and Micah Wilson (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) for 4x200-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay and 60-meter dash.
Eme Miller (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) was named to 2nd Team All-HCAC for her performance in the 5,000-meter race. Miller was also named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Head Coach John Hartpence was named HCAC Coach of the Year for leading the Lady Yellow Jackets to the HCAC Indoor Title.
