DC Volleyball Falls in Four at Anderson

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Defiance College volleyball team suffered its fourth-straight loss in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference competition, as it fell in four sets at Anderson on Wednesday night.

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Defiance College volleyball team suffered its fourth-straight loss in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference competition, as it fell in four sets at Anderson on Wednesday night.

The Yellow Jackets outscored Anderson (12-9, 4-3 HCAC) but still came away with the disappointing 25-22, 15-25, 25-21, 25-23 defeat in DC's final road conference contest of the 2010 campaign.

Chelsea Ludeman notched her second-straight 20-kill performance, as the standout freshman swatted 20 kills without an error in 38 swings for a sizzling .526 clip. Marlea Rolander hit .409 with 11 kills and seven blocks and Sara Porter registered a double-double with 10 kills and 15 digs.

Defiance falls to 11-16 overall and 2-5 in the HCAC with the loss and will look to bounce back on Sunday when it hosts Rose-Hulman (16-6, 4-2 HCAC) at noon.
