Volleyball announces 2022 schedule

Defiance Volleyball Head Coach Nick Umbdenstock has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2022 season. All home contest will be played at the Karl H. Weaner Center.

The Defiance schedule features two invitationals including the Heidelberg Cedar Point Invitational hosted by Heidelberg at the Cedar Point Sports Center and the Capital/Otterbein Classic hosted by Capital University.

Defiance will open their 2022 season at the Heidelberg Cedar Point Invitational, and will play their first game on Friday, September 2, against Eastern Mennonite at 4:00 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets' first home matchup is on Wednesday, September 7 when they host Heidelberg at 7:00 p.m.

Defiance's first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) game is scheduled for Saturday, October 1 when they welcome Rose-Hulman. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.

The Yellow Jackets overrall schedule consists of 24 contests, with six matches being played at home in the Weaner Center.
