2012 at Defiance: Continued to develop as a work horse on the mound for Yellow Jackets … Set career-highs and led the staff with three wins, nine games started and 54.0 innings pitched … Also recorded personal bests with a 5.33 earned-run average and 26 strikeouts … Opened season by posting 4.25 ERA through first 29.2 innings in six outings … Pitched second complete game of career on March 24 against Rose-Hulman … Excelled on the bump at Rutter Field with a 2.78 ERA and 0.93 WHIP in three home starts … Did not allow an earned run during pair of relief appearances spanning five innings.

2011 at Defiance: Took the mound for a team-leading 13 times … Picked up 26 strikeouts and two saves … Ranked fourth on roster by notching five starts on the bump for the Purple and Gold … Also ranked fourth on DC with 38.2 innings pitched … Excelled at closing out innings, holding opposing hitters to a .170 batting average with two outs.

The last time the Jackets won 20 or more games was 1995. DC dropped the final game of the series by a final of 3-0.
