Senior (2019-20): Pitched in four games, all in relief... Led the team in appearances and saves (two)... Allowed only three hits and no earned runs over 4.1 innings... Saved the 4-3 win over Wisconsin Lutheran... In the final contest of the year, he retired all four batters he faced to record a save in a 6-5 victory against Haverford. 

Junior (2018-19): Made a team-high 19 appearances on the mound, all out of the bullpen... Tossed 27 innings, recording a 2-2 record and 4.33 earned run average... Struck out 15 and walked eight.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader between the Defiance College baseball team and Hanover College Panthers got started in the morning hours and ended early on Saturday with the two squads splitting a couple of one-run games. Hanover came back for a 7-6 win in the opener before Defiance pulled out a 5-4 victory in the second contest that was ended after five innings because of rain and a wet field.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – At home for just the second time this season, the Defiance College baseball squad split two one-run games with the Anderson University Ravens, a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent, on Saturday at Craig A. Rutter Field. Defiance claimed the opener, 5-4, before its comeback bid fell short, 6-5, in the second contest of the doubleheader.

At Foundation Field on Miami University’s Hamilton campus, Defiance claimed a 9-2 win in the opener before dropping a 4-0 decision.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – Coming off solid seasons the last two years under 14th-year head coach Derek Woodley, the Defiance College baseball team hopes to continue its winning ways when opening the 2021 season with four Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference road games in Indiana this weekend. Defiance is scheduled to face Hanover College in a doubleheader on Saturday at noon before playing two games with Franklin College on Sunday at the same time.
