Men's Soccer lands two on All Conference Honorable Mention Team

DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the Men's Soccer All-Conference and marquee awards on Tuesday, November 8th with a pair of Defiance Yellow Jackets earning All Conference Honorable Mention Team honors. Recognition was decided by a vote of HCAC coaches.

Defiance is represented in the league's awards by Junior Riley Hensley (Swanton, Ohio) and senior Chase Stiner (St. Joseph, Ill.), both earning All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Hensley played in 18 games and started all 18 games for the Yellow Jackets this season. Hensley also chipped in a shot on goal percentage of .333% for Defiance. 

Stiner was one of the team's most efficient players. Throughout his last season, Stiner recorded a career-high 14 points for the Yellow Jackets. Additionally, Stiner went 2-3 on PKs, recorded 2 assists, and logged a shot on goal percentage of .472%.

Newcomer of the Year - Josh Martinez, Anderson University

Coach of the Year – Sean Helliwell, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology
