Bidlack Shines in DC’s Second-Place Finish at Fred Wilt Meet
ANDERSON, Ind. – Seth Bidlack turned in a school-record and conference-leading performance in the 1,000-meter run, and the Yellow Jackets finished second out of 13 teams at the Fred Wilt Memorial Invitational at Anderson University on Saturday.

Bidlack finished the 1,000-meter run in 2:37.63, beating his own school record by just over a second, for a first-place finish at the meet and the best performance in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this season.
DC's Tyler Anderson moved to the top of the HCAC standings in the pole vault with a mark of 14-11.00 (4.55 meters), tying teammate, Austin Trivett, who set the mark in last weekend's HCAC Indoor Championships. Trivett set a personal record in the high jump this week with a clearance 6-06.00 (1.98 meters) to move into second place in the conference this season.
In the 55-meter hurdles, Jordan Weber placed third at the meet with a time of 8.36 seconds, and Dan Hardin-Wallace placed fifth, finishing in 8.58 seconds for a top-10 time in the conference this season.
Josh Beaverson led DC's throwers once again with a personal record mark of 45-00.00 in the weight throw. Beaverson's throw ranks sixth in the HCAC this season and fifth in school history.
Next up for the Yellow Jackets is the North Central Last Chance Qualifier on Friday, March 4, in Naperville, Ill. The meet is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
