HANOVER, Ind. – The men’s track and field team finished fourth at the 2011 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships. Rose-Hulman won the championship meet with 226.50 points, while Franklin (123), Manchester (88.5), Defiance (80) and Anderson (74) rounded out the top five.

Defiance saw seven of its athletes receive Indoor All-Ohio honors, and broke a school record in the distance medley relay for the second-straight year.
ADA, Ohio – The men’s track and field team finished second with 151 points at the Polar Bear Invitational on Saturday. DC’s Justin Perkins recorded the fastest 1,000-meter dash time in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference this season with a personal-best time of 2:44.51.
FINDLAY, Ohio – DC’s 2011 indoor track and field season got under way on Friday, when the Jackets took part in the Northwest Ohio Invitational in Findlay, Ohio. HCAC Preseason Runner-to-Watch, Justin Perkins, got off to a good start by breaking DC’s school record in the 3,000-meter run.
